Newgrange, Ancient Ireland
This is one of the few tours that offer a guided visit into the actual tomb of Newgrange (3000 BC) one of the oldest and largest Neolithic burial chambers in Europe. It predates the Egyptian pyramids -- that's the WOW factor for anyone interested in history! Also enjoy a relaxed drive through the Boyne Valley including the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne and conclude with a visit to Mellifont Abbey. This tour is seasonal and only operates from April through to October.
